We were surprised that such as big company like Conde Nast called a small local cake company in Cambridge who haven’t made any advert yet at all.
They have googled and found us to offer a space for a advertisment. ( it is really hard to get a space there ) It was such amazing feeling for a small company like us.
It was an opportunity to showcase our beautiful cake designs on a specific advertorial page ‘Tiers of Joy’, within their upcoming Christmas Issue of Condé Nast Brides magazine.
As you may know, Condé Nast Brides is The UK’s 1st bridal magazine which any brides or ‘brides to be’ owns even one issue, reaching a massive 326 000 readers per issue on average. It is the most glamorous, inspirational and authoritative title in the market.
It will be the January/February issue, on sale for 2 months (from 2nd December – 31st January) so we are expecting as well as being perfectly times to capture the attention of newly-engaged women, but also bound with highly anticipated annual supplement The Wedding Planner, therefore this is a unique opportunity to ensure Koala cakes has possibility to help and plan their 2014/2015 wedding!

Emma just gave us the theme of Ocean Rose and let us do everything and suprise her on the day.
It was a pressure but on the other hand it was quite a thrilled project to do.
We wanted to make a cake to stand out but not to stand out too much at the same time, to blend well into the venue and represent the bride’s elegant.
This is a real traditional style wedding cake but contemporary at the same time.
Touch of pale green leaves supported the dusky pink and lilac roses well. Cake pops helped the balance of extremely different height between cupcakes and 3tiered cake.

Herefordshire Country wedding photography was there to make Emma and Tim’s day memorable.
